The Strange Death of Virginia Giuffre

The death of Virginia Giuffre—one of Jeffrey Epstein’s most prominent accusers—has sent shockwaves across the globe. But here in Western Australia, it hits far closer to home than many might expect. Giuffre, who courageously took on figures such as Prince Andrew and Ghislaine Maxwell, died in Neergabby, just two hours north of Roleystone. The official story? Suicide. The public reaction? Skepticism. And understandably so.

The Car Accident Discrepancy

In March 2025, Giuffre posted online that she had been hit by a school bus travelling at 110 km/h, leaving her with kidney failure and severe internal injuries. She shared photos of herself with a black eye, facial bruising, and claimed doctors told her she had “days to live.”

But local authorities painted a very different picture.

Western Australia Police stated the crash was minor with no injuries. Bus driver Ross Munns, a 40-year veteran, publicly dismissed her claims, saying the accident had been “blown out of proportion.” He said he only clipped the rear of her car while overtaking at low speed.

Yet, the damage bill came in at over $2,000—a figure that doesn't quite align with the idea of a mere “slight clip”. If the impact was so minimal, how did such expensive damage occur? And how does that match up with the kind of injuries Giuffre claimed—ones visible in her photos?

These conflicting accounts raise legitimate questions.

Death and Doubt

Giuffre was found dead at her home in Neergabby on April 25. The early reports pointed to suicide, citing her emotional struggles and trauma. But her father, Sky Roberts, has since cast serious doubt over that conclusion.

“There’s no way she did this to herself,” he told media outlets. “Somebody got to her.”

He says his daughter was not suicidal and had recently voiced fear for her life, telling him “evil people” were trying to silence her. These weren’t the words of someone preparing to give up—they were the warnings of someone who knew she was being watched.

A Legacy and a Warning

Virginia Giuffre wasn't just another voice in the Epstein case—she was the voice that broke open the inner workings of a trafficking ring tied to billionaires, royals, and intelligence players. Her testimony helped expose Epstein and his network to global scrutiny. Her civil suit against Prince Andrew resulted in a multimillion-dollar out-of-court settlement in 2022—without any admission of guilt, but not without consequence.

And now, after years of activism, she's dead—quietly, suddenly, and with too many loose ends.

With the Perth Coroner now investigating, the world waits. But we in WA—especially those living in quiet towns like Roleystone—should be paying attention too. Because when powerful people want something buried, distance doesn't matter. Not even here in the bush.
